Configuration Management
Configuration Management
Configuration Management is a collection of techniques which coordinate and control the production. It is a set of engineering procedures for tracking and documenting software throughout its life cycle to ensure that all changes are recorded and that the current state of the software is known and reproducible.
Texans’s Configuration Management solution handles changes methodically so that a system can maintain its integrity over time.
We keep track of the source code, documentation, problems, changes requested, and changes made. It helps to ensure compliance by applying technical and administrative direction and surveillance to identify and document the characteristics of a configuration item, control changes to those characteristics; record and report change processing and implementation status, and verify compliance with specified requirements.
